The agri biotech business of the group consists of production facilities for tissue-culture, green house cultivation, bio-pesticide and bio-fertilizer. It is one of the most integrated players in agri-biotech business in India. The technology for production of bio-fertilizer is provided by TERI, New Delhi.

 

Neesa Agritech produces horticultural crops and bio-fertilizer on commercial scale. The tissue culture facility has capacity to produce one million plants-banana, sugarcane, pomegranate- per annum. The production unit is based on state of the art technology with three growth rooms, which can house 1,00,000 culture bottles at a time. The air-conditioning and air handling system incorporates 5 micron and 0.5 micron filters and are designed for class 10,000 and class 100,000 as per US Federal Standards 209B. The workstations are class 100 giving the best sterile conditions.

 

The bio-fertilizer are branded “Vardhak”.
